rest is alive

Rest isn’t passive—it’s powerful.

It’s a living, breathing relationship with yourself and the world around you.

When we pause with intention, we don’t shut down—we tune in. We remember that our worth isn’t measured by productivity. We reconnect with nature, with our bodies, and with what’s true.

This retreat invites you to experience rest as a source of vitality—not just recovery. To notice the aliveness in stillness, the wisdom in quiet, and the creativity that blooms when we slow down.

Now is
Your Time

This is your invitation to step away from the noise and back into yourself.

To breathe deeply.

To be witnessed.

To move, rest, and create—without pressure.

You don’t need to earn this.

You’re already enough.

What to expect

MEDITATION

Drop into stillness with guided practices that help quiet the mind and open the heart. These sessions are spacious, gentle, and accessible to all levels.

REIKI HEALING

A little energy magic to help you feel grounded and rejuvenated. Think of it as a loving reset, helping you reconnect to your calm, centered self.

NATURE WALKS

We’ll roam the enchanted Earth Sanctuary grounds in spacious silence. No need to talk—just listen to the trees, your breath, and the whispers of wonder along the way.

GENTLE MOVEMENT

I’ll guide you through gentle stretches and movements that invite ease and flow. No rush, no rules—just follow along at your own pace and listen to your body as it moves.

CREATIVE EXPRESSION

We're getting out the art supplies! Whether you want to sketch, color, or write, this is your space to play, explore, and let your creativity flow freely. (Supplies included unless you have your own that you want to use!)

BEACH TIME

Lunch by the sea, heron sightings, toes in the sand, and time to simply be. Frolicking encouraged.

TACOS

Obviously.

kind words from clients

“All the activities that you had planned were exactly what I was looking for from this retreat. It was relaxing, eye opening and a great learning experience! Especially being in a group hear everyone talk about their experiences, it was really brilliant weekend”

-Shreya K.

“Thank you, as always! What a lovely chance to de-stress and reconnect with a calm mind. Your ability to hold a gentle, guiding space is inspiring!”

—Jenesis R.

“I have a lot of chronic pain and ADHD, so meditation is often quite difficult for me. I went to one of Rachel's workshops that involved a mindfulness meditation and as soon as we got into it, my incessant fidgeting stopped, sitting became easy and full of strength!”

—Re M.

"I've attended a bunch of Rachel's workshops ranging from nervous system regulation to posture to breathing and her ability to read the room and hold a gentle, guiding space for body connection is inspiring! Her workshops are literally beautiful to experience."

-Rose L.

faq

what DO I need to bring to the retreat?

Just a water bottle and your beautiful self!

Lunch  and snacks will be provided (please reach out with any dietary restrictions).

where do i go?

Our home base will be The Earth Sanctuary in Langley. Keep an eye on your email for detailed instructions on how to get there and where to park!

What should I wear?

Clothes that are comfortable to move in! I would suggest layers to accommodate for movement and PNW weather. We will be outside a lot both on the grounds of the Earth Sanctuary and at the beach, so wear appropriate shoes!

Is this a silent retreat?

We will have some silent only time for sure, but this is not a silent retreat. How else could we talk about how good our tacos are?

will i have the option to add 1:1 time with you?

Yes! You will have the opportunity to purchase 1:1 time with me during the retreat for a private movement, meditation, or Reiki session.

How many people will be there?

Space is limited to just 8 people!

Will i need to take a ferry?

I love taking the ferry to Whidbey, but you don't need to! You can drive around. If you do take the ferry, please account for the potential of missing a ferry and needing to wait. There are lots of cute coffee shops and cafes if you get to the island early. Or better yet, make this a weekend getaway and stay on island the whole weekend!

What if i have to cancel?

I understand that shit happens. Unfortunately, due to the nature of this event, I am unable to give full refunds. Cancellations made before August 10 can be refunded 75% and cancellations made on or after August 10 cannot be refunded.

are all genders welcome?

All genders are welcome for this retreat! It is vital that this be a respectful and inclusive environment, so there is a ZERO tolerance policy for: sexual harassment of any kind or disparaging or derogatory remarks towards people based on their gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnic backgrounds, religion, ability, caste or age. Failure to do so will result in removal with no refund.
